MENA said that the charges against the four Christians have since been dropped. Apparently, the release of the four could have something to do with the extradition of two members of Muammar Gaddafi’s regime from Egypt, this month. Gaddafi was thrown out of office as the leader of Libya in 2011. MENA also stated that another Christian imprisoned in Tripoli died last month.
