A Nigerian girl, 10-year old Zuriel Oduwole has made history as the youngest person ever to be interviewed on popular magazine Forbes.

The interview with the award winning documentary film maker, conference speaker and writer is featured in the August 2013 edition of Forbes Africa.

Touted by some as the next Larry King, and ARISE News as the next Oprah Winfrey, Oduwole  is  reportedly committed to rebrand Africa by showing the positive things in about the continent, and making  the case for education the Girl Child in Africa and Emerging Markets.

All kidding aside, AfryKamera: African Film Festival in Poland (www.afrykamera.pl) is the first film festival in the Eastern European region dedicated to African diaspora film in general.

The 8th annual AfryKamera African Film Festival, jointly organized by two NGOs from Poland: Filmgramm Foundation and the Foundation for Somalia, will take place in Warsaw from the 10th to the 14th of April, 2013.

Thus far, a reported 7 projects have received money from the fun, which some say is too low, given how much of a boost the Nigerian entertainment industry is said to need; and there’s apparently some confusion about what exactly the fund is, how Nigerian artists can access the money, and frustration over how complicated the application process seems to be
