NEW YORK (PIX11) — It’s that time of year again! What started as a small prank turned into an annual international fad. That’s right — this weekend, No Pants Subway Ride 2014 kicks off.
The No Pants Subway Ride started 13 years ago in 2001 and is hosted by Improv Everywhere in January of every year.

The “prank collective” says the phenomenon is happening now in 60 countries around the world — including Hong Kong, Buenos Aires, and Warsaw.
There’s only two rules — you must be “willing to take pants off on subway” and “able to keep a straight face about it.”
The event starts at 3 p.m. and ends at Union Square by 4 p.m.
For more information, see the event’s website.
